Jonathan is an expert in leveraging national connections, best practice, and industry savvy to lead successful associations and produce dynamic signature events.
He is the author of In Any Event: A Guide for Designing Successful Association Events, published in 2015 by the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE). The book offers expert advice on event management, with emphasis on planning and storytelling as key success factors.
As a respected member of the North American association management company community, and through his connections in communications, IT, tourism and hospitality, government, law, and other sectors, Jonathan connects his association clients with important information and key decision-makers.

Jonathan has led a number of complex, high-profile signature events for national and regional clients. His leadership of these events has linked him with major thinkers, leaders, and stars including author Malcolm Gladwell; former Prime Ministers Jean Chretien and Paul Martin; former New York City Mayor and US Presidential Candidate Rudy Giuliani; and athletes Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, Mark Messier, and others.
Jonathan has received extensive national recognition and acclaim for his entrepreneurial skills, including the 2001 Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Business Development Bank of Canada.
He has served as a Board member with Winnipeg’s Jewish Child and Family Service, the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, the Winnipeg Executives Association (and Chair of its Membership Committee), and Economic Development Winnipeg (Executive member and Chair of the Young Leaders Committee) and of AMC Institute.
