Suppliers/Vendors to Associations and AMCs

Do you provide services or products to associations? Did you realize that an Association Management Company (AMC) has an average of seven associations as clients?

Imagine attending an event with more than 100 AMC owners representing 700 associations! Imagine how you can increase your visibility and multiply your sales power all in one place.

It's time you joined AMC Institute as an Associate Member!

"Our partnership with the AMC Institute and its members has given us the opportunity to bundle meetings for single properties, which usually results in added value for the associations. The AMC Institute has been a great source of business and we have seen significant value through our strategic relationships with AMCs."

Richard Green, Vice President of Association Sales and Industry Relations for Marriott International

Benefits for Associate Members

  • Attend all AMC Institute events at the member price. See our Meeting Calendar for details on upcoming events. You can attend an AMC Institute event twice without being a member – come and see why you should join!

  • Follow up with AMC contacts in our member directory. Don't make another cold call – follow up with AMC owners you've met through our events. AMC owners are much more likely to listen when they know you're a supporter of the AMC industry. Display your membership on your literature and website – it goes a long way.

  • Join an AMC Institute Task Force to raise your visibility among members. Associate Members are welcome to join any of our twelve Task Forces. Take a look at the opportunities available and see where your service or product would provide a valuable resource.

  • Join the Associate Member Task Force. AMC Institute values its Associate Members. Join this Task Force to provide feedback to the Board of Directors on ways we can make your membership more profitable.

  • Take advantage of our money saving programs. Your fellow Associate Members may have a program that you can use – whether it's printing or website design – and you don't have to be an AMC owner to use them. Click here to see what AMC Institute Business Partners have to offer you.

"As a supplier to meetings and conventions, I see firsthand the high-quality and value-added services the AMC Institute members bring to their association clients. The AMC Institute is a great partner to Hyatt Hotels & Resorts and they represent the top leaders in their profession."

Carol Buseman, Director, Worldwide Sales, Hyatt Hotels and Resorts

Want to stand out even more from the average Associate Member? AMC Institute offers two programs – Business Partners and Leadership Circle.

Business Partner Program

An Associate Member can become an AMC Institute Business Partner by entering into a business agreement that provides direct financial benefits to AMC Institute members (ex: discounted prices) and royalty (based on member sales volume) back to AMC Institute. Each proposal is reviewed by the Chairs of the Membership and Associate Member Task Forces and then forwarded to the Board of Directors for approval.

"As a printing company serving more than 1,200 associations and AMCs worldwide, joining the AMC Institute 15 years ago opened the doors to new business opportunities for Documation. Membership has proved invaluable from both a networking and sales perspective."

Roy Fuerstenberg, President & CEO of Documation

Once approved, AMC Institute Business Partners are profiled in the AMC Institute Member E-Newsletter. From that point forward, their information is included on the sidebar of all future E-Newsletters with a direct link to their website. Business Partner literature is distributed in all new member packets and included in the registration packets for all attendees of AMC Institute events.

To ensure that your proposal will be beneficial for both parties, AMC Institute has developed a template to assist you. Click here to download the template.

Leadership Circle Program

An Associate Member can become a member of the Leadership Circle by making a financial contribution to support the association in exchange for special benefits. Participants in the Leadership Circle may join at the beginning of the fiscal year (August 1st) with the annual opportunity to renew the relationship.

This is the premier opportunity for Associate Members. As a supporter of the AMC industry, your visibility will be high and networking opportunities will grow.
