Bill Elliott Earns Certified Association Executive Credential

Menomonee Falls, WI - Bill Elliott, Association Executive at Association Acumen, has earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE®) designation, granted by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE). Elliott serves as the Executive Director for the Automotive Fleet and Leasing Association and the International Association of Special Investigative Units, two of Acumen's clients. Elliott has a strong background in non-profit management and has valuable experience within the executive functions of professional and trade associations. He enjoys identifying new opportunities for associations to grow. Prior to working at Association Acumen, Elliott worked for five years at the Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association, where he served as Vice President of Revenue Development.

To be designated as a Certified Association Executive, an applicant must have a minimum of three years of experience with nonprofit organization management, complete 100 hours of specialized professional development, pass a stringent examination and pledge to uphold a code of ethics. To maintain the certification, individuals must undertake ongoing professional development activities in association management. More than 4,000 association professionals currently hold the CAE credential. The CAE program in accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
