Menomonee Falls, WI – Mike Mathy has been named Executive Director of the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS), effective immediately. FOCIS is managed by Association Acumen, an award-winning accredited association management firm based in Menomonee Falls, WI. Mathy succeeds Sarah Martis, who has been Executive Director since 2013.
Mathy is a seasoned association management professional with over nine years of experience in leadership roles in regional and national associations. He has also served as Project Manager for the Community Medical Education Program at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He was previously Associate Executive Director of FOCIS and is currently the Executive Director of the National Vehicle Leasing Association. Mathy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

FOCIS has grown to 58 Member Societies since its formation in 2001, representing over 65,000 basic and clinician scientists. It was formed to improve human health through immunology by fostering interdisciplinary approaches to understand and treat immune-based diseases.
