Assocation Headquarters Executive Named Association Trends 2006 Young & Aspiring Professional
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ, NOVEMBER 30, 2006 – Association Headquarters, Inc. (AH) is proud to announce that Mike Dwyer, CAE, Senior Account Executive for AH, was recently selected by Association TRENDS as a 2006 Young & Aspiring Association Professional. This designation is awarded to the best of the present and future within the national association community.
A member of the AH team for more than two years, Dwyer serves as Executive Director for the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association and the National Automotive Radiator Service Association. In this role, he oversees all activities of the associations, including budgeting, financial management, staff oversight, membership recruitment and retention, regional and annual meetings, publicity and new program development. Dwyer also works in concert with the board and its committees and acts as the liaison for members and the public.
Prior to joining AH, Dwyer worked at the National Automotive Radiator Service Association, headquartered in East Greenville, PA for six years before guiding the association's transition from stand-alone management in 2004. He is the recipient of the 2001 American Society of Association Executive's Certified Association Executive designation, the highest certification within the association management profession. Mike resides in Shamong, NJ with his wife Penny and three children, Chandler, Owen and Madeline.
Established in 1973, Association TRENDS is a weekly publication published for association executives and the suppliers who serve them.
