How AMCs Have Increased Membership
Gordon Thornton, Ph.D, ADEC's Immediate Past President of The Association of Death Education and Counseling (ADEC). Dedicated to promoting excellence in death education, bereavement counseling and care of the dying, ADEC looked to an AMC to help grow its membership. Since transitioning management over to an AMC, ADEC increased its membership from roughly 600 to over 1900. The growth was generated from an increased number of programs and services offered by ADEC, which could not have been possible without the AMC. "Our AMC was vital in establishing stability in our association and has increased the professionalism of our organization and aided us in many new initiatives."
