My AMC's success and growth is due almost exclusively to the AMC Institute. Half of our clients came to us from the RFP process and another was referred by an AMCI colleague. As important, I've learned so much about improving how I manage my business from the colleagues I meet at every meeting and who are consistently generous in sharing their experience and advice. In those lean, early years as an AMC owner, finding the money to attend an AMCI meeting was difficult. However, the ROI in terms of clients and information gained makes this expense an easy one to include in my annual budget. For any AMC owners looking to grow their firms or improve their profitability, becoming an AMCI member is essential. REM simply would not exist today without the AMC Institute.

I can attribute much of our company’s growth from a small AMC (3 employees), to a mid-size AMC to the networking and education I get from AMC Institute.  Finding ways to be more efficient and improve client services has helped me grow my company. 
AMCI’s RFP process is almost like having a full time Business Development Director on staff.  There are always RPF’s that we are interested in pursuing – we just don’t have enough staff to get all of the proposals written. 
The savings I receive on my E & O Insurance through the AMC Institute’s insurance program covers the cost of my membership with some extra change.  I all I got for joining AMCI was the insurance - it would still be a ‘no brainer!!’ 
We are all association management company professional – encouraging our clients members to join their industry trade association.  How much of a hypocrite is it for an AMC to not be a member of their trade association. (ok – that one might be a little to  strong but I had to say it).
