In the AMC world, scope creep is rarely dramatic. It does not usually arrive as a sweeping demand or a single overwhelming initiative. More often, it appears quietly: one additional committee call, an expanded conference deliverable, another “quick” marketing request, a last-minute board initiative, or a volunteer-driven project added with the best intentions. Individually, these requests often seem manageable. Collectively, they can fundamentally reshape the workload, priorities, and sustainability of both the client relationship and the AMC team supporting it.
