In Memory of Conni Ingallina

It with a heavy heart that we share news of the unexpected passing of our friend and colleague, Conni Ingallina. As the President and Founder of SOS Association Management Solutions, Conni personified the personal touch that makes our industry so special. Her passion for connecting people and purpose was evidenced in the brand that defined her firm and her philosophy, “providing customized solutions with a personal touch”. Please find the below communication from SOS Association Management below.

We, the family and team members of SOS Association Management Solutions, need to share the very difficult news that Conni Ingallina, our President and Founder, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020. Her passing, due to an extremely aggressive form of cancer, was sudden and unexpected.

We, the family and team members of SOS Association Management Solutions, need to share the very difficult news that Conni Ingallina, our President and Founder, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2020. Her passing, due to an extremely aggressive form of cancer, was sudden and unexpected.

Conni was extremely proud of the partnership between SOS and all of its clients. We know it was personally gratifying for her that SOS had the opportunity to be of service to each organization and provide support for such a tremendous group of volunteers, knowledgeable and passionate leaders, and their associations.

The team at SOS is processing this development as we mourn the loss of our leader, colleague, and friend. We want you to know, however, that there will be no interruption in the day-to-day support that we provide for each organization. We are all committed to carrying on the organizational culture established by Conni, which emphasizes the importance of providing the highest possible level of service for our clients.

Zach Ingallina has stepped in as the CEO of SOS to carry forward the legacy that Conni built over the course of more than 25 years. Zach, Conni’s son, has long been involved in the growth and strategic direction of SOS, both as an external advisor and as its previous Director of Operations. In the weeks ahead, Zach will be personally reaching out to each of our clients to get to know them better and to answer any questions they may have.

Conni, Zach, and the SOS team have been preparing for expansion as we are proud to announce an additional SOS office opening up in Texas. While we will be maintaining our Arizona office and wonderful staff members, we will be adding a second location for SOS near Waco, Texas. Conni, Zach, and their entire family had recently purchased property there where the business of SOS as well as the Ingallina family will continue to grow and thrive. This 10-acre property was Conni’s dream, and while her family is devastated that she will not get to live on the property herself, they are excited that they will be able to continue her legacy both in family and business. There is advance SOS staff already in place in Texas, and the Ingallina family will be making the physical move to Texas in the weeks to come per Conni’s wishes.

Again, we want to assure you that Conni’s legacy of professionalism, personal care, and exceptional customer service will continue for all of our clients and staff members both in Arizona and Texas.

Anyone wanting to send condolences, notes of appreciation or memories to the family may do so at the following address:
15233 N 51st Street, Scottsdale AZ 85254.
*As the family is packing to leave for Texas they have expressed a wish that no flowers or meals be sent to the home, however, Costco gift-cards for meal supplies are appreciated.

Per Conni’s wishes, no public service will be held, as she preferred a private family celebration of her life.

Thank you for partnering with us as we all process this difficult news, and please know how valuable you each are to the SOS family
