Gerda-Marie is a pharmacist by education and has worked for many years in life-science, spending +15 years in the pharmaceutical industry where she initially worked with drug development and later with project & programme management and strategy. She has also worked with public-private collaborations and international branding of Danish life science and healthcare. She joined the Copenhagen Convention Bureau in 2023, where her work has focused on legacy, primarily within three strongholds of Copenhagen; life-science, green transition, and information & communications technology.

  • Cathrine Seidel Tvede, Senior Bid Manager - Congress, Copenhagen Convention Bureau

Cathrine holds more than 15 years of experience in the global meetings industry and oversees business development in North America and Europe. In her work, Cathrine utilizes her industry expertise to focus greatly on industry-boosting projects that work to upskill the local workforce and promote health and safety in meetings.

Markus holds over 10 years of experience in the meeting and hospitality industry, currently working as Manager – Associations at the Vienna Convention Bureau. In addition to his work with the Vienna Convention Bureau, Markus also works within the Business-to-Business development of the Vienna Tourist Board. Throughout his work, Markus is dedicated to sharing worthwhile insight and creating unforgettable experiences.

Specialized in Sustainability and Events, Anna joined the Barcelona Convention Bureau in 2024 to develop and manage the Legacy Program. With previous experience in research across the fields of philanthropy, social impact, and the third sector, she brings a strategic and purpose-driven approach to event legacy planning. Her background includes analyzing data, designing tools to assess and measure social impact, and fostering cross-sector partnerships. Anna combines strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills with a passion for inclusive, long-term value creation, helping associations engage with the local community and leave a meaningful legacy in the city.

  • Anna Bueno, Association Meetings Manager, Barcelona Convention Bureau

With a background spanning several years in tourism, Anna joined the Barcelona Convention Bureau, and has been there for 25 years. Through her position of Association Meetings Manager, Anna has been able to develop a deep knowledge of the Conference business, specifically in the Association Market. With a knack for coordination and development, Anna oversees Association Meetings from beginning to very end.
