Founded in 1957, CSMFO’s purpose is to improve the knowledge, skills, and performance of individuals responsible for municipal and other local government fiscal policy and management. CSMFO is a statewide organization with a legacy of serving its members through innovation, collaboration, continuing education and professional development.
Impact has already implemented key enhancements to strengthen CSMFO’s operations, with a focus on efficiency and engagement. These enhancements include a comprehensive membership needs assessment to align initiatives with member preferences, an updated annual calendar to improve event planning, and a restructured editorial calendar to enhance communication. Additionally, Impact is increasing transparency with the integration of governance documents into a new leadership portal and launching streamlined financial reporting to provide clearer insights into the organization’s fiscal health.
