NEW YORK (January 14, 2016) – Kellen, the global leader in association and communications services, has acquired the association management services group of Applied Measurement Professionals, Inc. (AMP), of Kansas City, MO. The acquisition continues Kellen’s steady growth, bringing more than a dozen association and certification board clients to its healthcare and science practice, and expanding
Kellen’s Midwest presence beyond its recently expanded hub in Oakbrook, IL. AMP Vice President of Management Services, Dede Gish‐Panjada, has been named a Vice President of Kellen.

“We could not be more pleased to bring on AMP Management Services,” said Peter Rush, Chief Executive Officer of Kellen. “They have an outstanding commitment to providing effective solutions and excellent service to associations, government agencies and other nonprofit organizations in the professional services, higher education, medical and healthcare sectors. AMP’s noted expertise, superior client service and specific areas of focus will add great value to our current and future clients.”

Rush explained that Kellen has sought strategic growth opportunities over the past four years that have resulted in the company doubling in size since 2012. “Industry sectors, practice areas and geography have factored into each of our business decisions. We believe that health, medicine and science will continue to have significant potential.”

Kellen’s healthcare and science association practice includes a concentration in national and international societies representing health, science and technology subspecialties, and focuses on the intersection of clinical practice, research and education. The acquisition of AMP will enhance Kellen’s certification capabilities and enrich the company’s medical sector knowledge.

“For over 30 years, AMP/Management Services has delivered the highest professional and ethical standards to fulfill the unique requirements of each client,” said Gish‐Panjada. “Kellen is a global association industry leader that is dedicated to this same level of excellence and innovation. We are thrilled to be a part of the Kellen team and look forward to aligning our staff, resources, and expertise to bring new levels of success to our clients.”

Gish‐Panjada is a 31‐year veteran of the association management practice at AMP. A former president of the Association Management Company Institute (AMCI), she was awarded the Professional Excellence Award from the Kansas City Society of Association Executives in 2015.
