She most recently served as Vice President, Business Development and Managing Director of Association Headquarters’ Washington, DC office. Prior experience includes serving as executive director for two clients while at Interel, formerly Association Management Group. Denise has also held positions in leading hospitality firms, including Hilton Worldwide, San Diego Tourism Authority, and NYC & Company. An active volunteer in both the industry and her community, Denise was recently appointed to the Board of Governors of Visit Alexandria, the nonprofit destination marketing organization for Alexandria, Virginia, named the #1 Best Value U.S. Travel Destination 2018 by Money magazine. She has also served in leadership roles in many industry organizations, including sitting on Board of the Association Management Company Institute, serving on the Development Committee of the American Society of Association Executives Foundation, and participating as a member of the DC Capital Chapter of the Professional Convention Management Association. |
